How to Install the Lymow RTK Reference Station
Installing the Lymow RTK reference station is straightforward once you choose the right location. Follow the video and steps below to complete either a ground installation or a wall/roof installation.

Follow the complete installation process, from choosing the RTK location to ground installation, wall mounting, cable connection, and power setup.
Choose the Installation Location
Install the RTK reference station on flat, open ground or on an unobstructed wall or roof.
Choose a location with a clear view of the sky and minimal signal interference. The RTK station requires at least a 110° clear sky view.
Keep the station vertical, stable, and free from shaking or vibration. Avoid building corners, narrow spaces between structures, and areas directly under trees.
Assemble the Mounting Poles
Connect the upper and lower mounting poles as shown in the video.
Before continuing, take a clear photo of the QR code on the back of the RTK reference station. You will need it for binding later.
Install the Antenna and Cable
Attach the radio antenna securely to the RTK reference station.
Connect the 5-meter cable to the RTK station and feed the cable through the two mounting poles in sequence.
Once the cable is routed correctly, mount the RTK reference station onto the top mounting pole.
Install the RTK Station on the Ground
Connect the lower mounting pole to the RTK ground stake and insert the stake firmly into the selected installation location.
Make sure the RTK reference station remains vertical and stable.
Connect the extension cable to the RTK adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet to turn on the station.
Install the Wall Mount Bracket
If ground installation is not suitable, the RTK reference station can also be mounted on a wall or roof.
Hold the wall mount bracket against the installation surface and mark the four drilling positions.
Drill the holes and secure the bracket using the provided screws and expansion bolts.
Mount and Power the RTK Station
Feed the 5-meter extension cable through the wall mount bracket and pull the cable through the exit hole.
Connect the cable to the RTK reference station. Before mounting it, take a photo of the QR code on the back for later binding.
Mount the RTK reference station onto the wall bracket, connect the extension cable to the RTK adapter, and plug it into a power outlet.
Installation Complete
Once the RTK reference station is securely installed and powered on, you can continue with the device binding and setup process.
